Announcing SC TEAMS

On November 17, 2022, State Superintendent Molly Spearman announced the formation of SC TEAMS, a technical assistance network supporting the South Carolina Department of Education Office of Special Education Services. SC TEAMS is a collaboration with the Academic Alliance of South Carolina (AASC), the Behavior Alliance of South Carolina (BASC), Transition Alliance of South Carolina (TASC), Able SC and Pyramid PIECES partners South Carolina Partnerships for Inclusion (SCPI) and Family Connection. This network seeks to collaborate with the South Carolina Department of Education’s Office of Special Education Services to increase the local capacity of districts and schools to support the implementation and scaling up of evidence-based practices to improve outcomes for children ages three to twenty-one with disabilities in the state.
