The Pyramid PIECES Behavior Support Network provides:
- problem-solving support and resources based on specific behavioral
needs - consultation to technical assistance specialists, inclusion specialists, and classroom coaches
- individualized classroom consultation aligned with the Prevent, Teach, Reinforce for Young Children© teaming cycle
The Pyramid PIECES Behavior Support Network partners with child care programs through their program-wide implementation efforts to ensure they have supports in place for Tier-3 interventions. Additionally, we accept referrals through the SC Child Care Inclusion Collaborative to support programs, children, and families when persistent challenging behavior is present. We use a team-centered approach when working with families and programs to intervene and develop a plan to address persistent challenging behaviors and promote healthy social and emotional development.
The Pyramid PIECES Behavior Support Network partners with school districts that are interested in using the Pyramid Model in program-wide implementation and need additional support with persistent challenging behaviors. In support of program-wide implementation, leadership teams will be guided in creating a developmentally appropriate response plan for challenging behaviors and a process for providing individualized positive behaviors. In addition, staff serving as behavior support coaches will be trained in practice based coaching specific to supporting teacher implementation of Tier-3 practices.
