Pyramid PIECES: Promoting Integrated Early Childhood Emotional & Social supports.
Pyramid PIECES is an umbrella organization of partnerships to support Pyramid Model implementation in different early childhood sectors. Currently, supported by funding from the SC Department of Education, Office of Special Education Services, we have facilitation of SLT activities, support for program-wide implementation in school districts, and support for school districts to develop tier-3 infrastructure. Additionally, we have funding from the PDG 0-5 which is administered through SC Department of Social Services, Division of Early Care and Education to support program-wide implementation in child care and to develop and maintain a Behavior Support Network for child care programs.
As the team continues to grow, initial implementation has begun in several child care centers and districts across the state. In addition, cross-sector support continues to be developed to further implementation across the early childhood mixed delivery system in our state.
